Licensed Psychologist & Clinical Supervisor | Diagnostic Assessment Specialist
I am a licensed psychologist and clinical supervisor at Mind Body Medicine, where I specialize in comprehensive diagnostic assessment across the lifespan, with particular expertise in autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). My role within the practice emphasizes careful, evidence-based evaluation integrated with collaborative treatment planning alongside psychiatric and medical providers, as well as supervision and professional development of clinical staff.
I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, Sacramento, where I received extensive training in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention. My clinical background includes experience in behavioral medicine within large hospital systems, working on interdisciplinary teams to address complex medical and psychological presentations.
I have worked with active-duty service members and veterans, providing individual and group therapy, including the implementation of stress inoculation therapy to enhance resilience and coping under high-demand conditions. In addition, I bring experience conducting Social Security disability evaluations and working within correctional and forensic settings, where diagnostic clarity and clinical precision are essential.
I have also practiced in community mental health settings, including rural communities, which has strengthened my commitment to accessible, culturally responsive, and integrated care. Therapeutically, I practice from an integrative framework grounded in humanistic and experiential approaches, with extensive training and application of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). This allows me to support patients in understanding their inner experiences while also developing practical, skills-based strategies for meaningful and lasting change.
I am a retired United States Air Force veteran, and my military background informs my work through a deep appreciation for service, structure, and resilience. I am also a Bay Area native, a wife, and a mother of three. Outside of my professional work, I am an avid fitness and wellness enthusiast and value the connection between physical health, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life.
At Mind Body Medicine, my goal is to help individuals feel understood within a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment—one that honors the connection between mind and body. I look forward to partnering with individuals and families on their healing journey and supporting them as they move toward greater balance, wellness, and fulfillment.
