Hello! My name is Balky, I’m a Physician Assistant that graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2025.
I was born and raised in the Bay Area, where I spent nearly 10 years working as a respiratory therapist before going back to school. That experience continues to shape how I practice today—it taught me the value of truly listening to my patients and understanding the whole person, not just the symptoms in front of me.
My interest in Psychiatry developed during my training at the Sacramento County Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Services. During that time, I saw how deeply mental health affects every part of a person’s life, and it reinforced my belief that mental health care is essential, not optional.
I want every patient I work with to feel heard and understood. I take the time to learn where you’re coming from, and together we’ll figure out the next steps that make sense for you. Mental health is a journey, and I’m here to support you along the way.
